Liquid life. Zygmunt Bauman. At first sight, “Liquid life” is a little booklet, an essay, but its content is so profound that each page is worth 30. Lucas Morera, Head of Retail, Talent & Culture in the Barcelona-based fashion brand Brownie, recommended this book and I will never be able to thank him enough for that.
As nobody every did, Bauman describes and decodes the keys to understanding what is happening in our world. As individuals or as a society we will probably wonder more than once why we are reacting in such a way in such a changing convulsed world. No doubt, the codes which are making the old status quo collapse are being rewritten, and things need to change. In such a process, we are seeing things happen that we never expected to see (both the good and the bad things). If we want to create something better for the next generations to inherit, we cannot live these times without understanding what is happening or just watching to another side. We need to figure out what is going on right here, right now. And that’s “Liquid life”. A compass that allows us to navigate our world, which is highly recommended if you work with people and organisations.
