Remote: Office not required. Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson.
This month I could nothing but recommend one of the books of my hyperadmired Jason Fried. Remote: Office not required has been co-written with his partner, David Heinemeier Hansson, and it’s the best literature you can read about how to master WFH like a pro. Fried, a devoted WFH advocate, describes how to implement a remote working company culture based on his experience with his own organisation, Basecamp (which creates the best software for remote-led projects). You can read this book in one day (especially now that we all quarantine). Inside, you will find precious gems like: “The True Challenge of Managing Remote Workers: People Who Work Too Hard”, “How To Work With Clients You’ve Never Met Face To Face” or “The Two Biggest Drags On Productivity: Meetings And Managers (Or, As We Call Them, M&Ms)”. Fried rocks!
And, as an appetizer before reading the book, this interview!.
