Extraordinary Minds: Portraits of 4 Exceptional Individuals And An Examination of Our Own Extraordinariness. Howard Gardner. I’ve been an absolute fan of Howard Gardner and his multiple intelligences theory since the beginning of time. “Frames of Mind” is still a revealing work which inspired an awarded pedagogical curriculum which is successfully applied nowadays in many schools.

Extraordinary Minds is a good introductory book to the universe of Gardner. The author explores big four geniuses (Mozart, Freud, Woolf and Gandhi) to analyse their extraordinariness and how each one of them developed their talents based on their intelligence type to reach their achievements.

In a time where it is more than assumed that diversity is the only way to achieve better, sustainable social and organisational environments, it is fascinating to find out that, twenty years ago, Gardner proved it scientifically in his book.
