A prolific, fearless author who makes elites blush every time he speaks out or publishes an article or a book. <\/p>\n
Who rules the world? is a make-up free, well documented vision of our world, where nothing is random. In a diverse and complex framework, it is quite obvious, though, that, even if we are in 2019, the voice of the so-called “masters of the universe” prevails over the population who vote. How is it possible that in most of the continents economic and business elites play a starring role in politics and social life over the majority of citizens? This reality, combined with specific manipulation of the media, storytelling and consumerism suffocates the people’s willingness to make their voices be heard, which leads to a weak democracy. Power, then, remains in the hands of a few for whom concepts such as freedom, solidarity, justice or peace are just a sentimental backdrop. They neglect what those values really are: the foundations of a new, sustainable status quo. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Who rules the world? Noam Chomsky.
